Table Tennis

Table Tennis at Rangitoto College is strong, with pupils participating at all levels on Friday evenings at the North Harbour Table Tennis Centre.

Term 1

Season Dates

Competitive - Term 2 and Term 3. Social - Term 1 and Term 2.

Game Days

Competitive - Friday evenings. Social - Wednesdays, Term 1 and Term 2.

Training Times

Students are expected to train for events individually, or arrange with their team members to meet at a table tennis venue to train. Social Table Tennis - term 1 and term 2, Gym 1, 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

The North Harbour competition runs in Terms 2 and 3 at the new location of 8 Colway Place, Wairau Valley.

Grades: Premier A, A Reserves, B, C & D, Girls Grade (dependant on entries).

Rangitoto College has social table tennis on Wednesday in Gym 1, in Term 1 and Term 2 from 3:20pm – 4:30pm, all age groups and genders welcome. We supply the venue, tables, paddles, balls and supervision.

Venues and transport

Competitive – Activzone. Own transport is required, carpooling is encouraged. Parent managers are required.

Social – Gym 1 at Rangitoto College.

Uniform

Rangitoto Kukri PE shirt with plain black shorts for competitive and own sports clothing for social.
