We enter teams in the College Sport competition and hold social badminton here at the college.

Trials

Senior – Mid Term 1 trials. Junior - Mid Term 2 trials.

Season Dates

Seniors - Term 2. Juniors - Term 3. Winter Tournament - September. Social – Term 2 and Term 3.

Game Days

Boys A grade – Mondays. Boys B grade – Thursdays. Girls A & B grade – Wednesdays.

Training Times

Competitive - Mondays 4pm - 5 pm at Apollo Drive - Snr. term 2 and jnr. term 3 Social - Monday & Friday, Gym 1 & 2, 3:20pm - 4:30pm in term 2 & 3.

Rangitoto College teams play in both the Junior and Senior North Harbour competition with games being played at the North Harbour Badminton Facility. We will confirm more information when we are advised by College Sport on what competitions will be an option for 2025.

Social badminton is available for junior and seniors. All players very welcome, with no previous skills required. In the social season of 2025 we will be changing the format to a inhouse round robin. Students can enter as a team or students can be put in a team if they do not have one.

Venues and transport

Games are played at the North Harbour Badminton Facility

Own transport required.

Social – Gym 1 and gym 2

Parent managers are required.

Uniform

Rangitoto Kukri PE T-Shirt with plain black shorts for competitive and own sports clothing for social.
