Students at Rangitoto College are aware of the impact that we are having on our coastlines, and are passionate about finding ways to limit any negative consequences we have on our environment.
This student-run club works alongside the Sustainable Coastlines charity group and other North Shore schools such as Kristin School and Westlake Boys and Girls High Schools. It provides a platform for like-minded students to work together to improve their community environment, while also allowing students to problem solve and think creatively about the environmental issues they encounter.
Participation in this counts towards the service element of the Rangitoto Summit Diploma.
Students will complete 3 events a year to have this activity added onto their student profile.
