The goal of this service group is to destigmatise the discussion around mental health, host campaigns and fundraisers, as well as connect Auckland’s biggest schools through inter-school events.

The kuras involved currently are Westlake Boys and Girls, ACG Parnell, Kristin, Pinehurst and Rangitoto College.

The State of Mind students have weekly meetings in J7 where students are encouraged to have open and honest discussions about anything mental health related, unique and relevant to our Rangitoto community. These could be personal, around the school, or things that students are interested in discussing. There will be weekly prompts and current mental health-related news to inspire conversation.

Rangitoto Summit Diploma

Students must attend three events to have the State of Mind group on their student profile.
