Volunteering at parkrun is an opportunity for students to get outside, make new friends, have fun, learn new skills and to be a valuable part of your local community. parkrun is always looking for new volunteers. Students make sure the event is set up and packed away each week. Students could be organising the finish funnel, operating the timer, or scanning barcodes, there is something for everyone.
These events take place most Saturday mornings with three event locations close to the College, these are Sherwood Reserve in Browns Bay, Hobsonville Point and Metro Park in Millwater. This is a chance to learn new skills, contribute back to your local community and be part of this global event.
