KBB Honours Programme

12 Rangitoto College students will be performing the following repertoire as part of the KBB Honours Orchestra and KBB Honours Jazz Band.
Students from all over Auckland will come together to rehearse, before putting on a fabulous recital.

Jazz Band with Rodger Fox will perform La Paguera by John Fedchock & John Scon by Roger Manins
Symphony Orchestra with Beth Cohen will perform ‘Jupiter’ from The Planets by Holst***
Combined Repertoire: Take the ‘A’ Train: Ellington/Strayhorn (arr Tyzik)

KBB Music Festival Honours Programme is an opportunity to come together and work collegially, and also to work with two highly respected music educators. The goal is to create two ensembles of the highest standard, and the selection process will strive to represent a range of Auckland schools and aim to give opportunities to a range of our finest young musicians.
