Big Sing Finale – Christchurch

Serenata Choir from Rangitoto College will take part in the National Finale of the Big Sing Choral Festival, as one of the Top 24 choirs in the country.

At the conclusion of the regional Big Sing festivals, held all over NZ in June, 24 secondary school choirs are selected to compete in the National Finale, where they will perform in front of a panel of four adjudicators. This event has international significance as the only such event of its kind anywhere in the world. Christchurch is hosting the event in 2021 for the first time in 14 years.

Each day involves around 900 students with their directors and supporters, with the competition ending in a capacity Gala concert of up to 2000.
