BACKThis term we have been busy with Year 9 Orientations. Students get a basic understanding of how the library work, including our expectations, how long they can borrow books for, (3 weeks), the different collections we have in the library (graphics, magazines, fast fiction, foreign language books, biographies, fiction and non-fiction), and how to use the printer, top up kiosk, and self-check kiosk.
Students are shown how to download printers to their devices, via PCSchool (Spider) – Quicklinks – Ranginet – BYOD printing for students. Any students who have been unable to add printers can come to the library and we will help them with this.
Finally, we show the students how to access our vast collection of e and audio books available from EPlatform. Students can go to PCSchool (Spider) – Quicklinks – Library Research files. From here they can click on the Library catalogue or Library e books. There are over 5000 books available for students to access from school or at home.
