BACKThe 2024 Arts Awards evening was a red-hot celebration of all things theatre – red curtains, red sequins, red lighting, and red roses thrown on stage – wrapped up perfectly by our closing item The Show Must Go On. 190 students were awarded for their service, contribution, and achievement in the co-curricular arts at Rangitoto College. It is always a privilege to acknowledge the character, energy, and spirit these students bring to our school community, and to recognise the generosity and talent of the staff who facilitate and support the many facets of our co-curricular Arts programmes.
Special congratulations to our top trophy winners:
- Sammy Goad and Devon Fenwick-Rose – Best Contribution to Music
- Joel Bird – Best Contribution to Drama
- Summer Hawkins – Best Contribution to Dance
- Ryleigh Hing & Robert Kim – Zigliani Cup for Excellence in Performing Arts
- Joel Bird – Most Outstanding Performing Arts Achievement Cup – and our 2024 Performing Artist of the Year!
