A Choral Confection

As the final showcase in the Music Department calendar, the expectations on A Choral Confection are high, but of course we rose to the challenge and delivered an evening sweeter than ever! A record number of guests were greeted with a delightful assortment of confectionery upon arrival, followed by a delectable array of performances from the four Rangitoto College choirs – The Minuettes, Serenata, Cambiata, and The Fundamentals. Choral brackets were interspersed by melt-in-the-mouth solo and trio items from selected students and staff, as well as a truly heartwarming medley delivered by the Year 9 Vocal class. This vocal pick ’n’ mix was a real treat for all ages and tastes and was the perfect way to conclude our highly successful 2024 concert series.
