BACKWe had the privilege of welcoming home several of our Alumni who attended Rangitoto College in the 1960s. This Reunion was held on Tuesday the 14th of May in the Rangi Centre where our past students were blown away by how much our college had changed since their time here.
Our Alumni were joined by some of our Head Students who loved asking questions about what Rangi was like over 60 years ago. We had class photos and Panorama magazines on display with one Alumni who found an essay he wrote for the school magazine in 1962. It was a very proud moment!
Events such as Reunions are important to us at Rangi. We value the connection we still have with our past students and strive to communicate as much as we can to help spread the word to keep those connections going. Our Community Relations Team are always looking at ways to increase our Alumni database so if you attended Rangi in the past or know of others who did (and may have even moved overseas), we look forward to hearing from you.
Our next Reunion will be held on Thursday 22 August at The Merchant and Co pub in Albany to celebrate our 1970s and 1980s Alumni. If you attended Rangi during these years, please get in touch to register your interest.
