On a beautiful sunny day, we had the pleasure of welcoming over 100 international students from 18 different nationalities. These students are very excited to meet the locals and be part of a programme that will significantly enrich their lives.
To ensure a smooth integration into the NZ school system and the community, our students attended a two-day orientation where they had the opportunity to connect with their peers and get an understanding of the academic expectations, support services available, and the variety of clubs and activities they can join to make their time here a unique and unforgettable experience.
Our international students are accommodated by host families that are encouraged to share the kiwi lifestyle with their students and support them throughout their journey.
Hosting an international student is also an excellent opportunity for kiwi families to help young learners thrive while learning and embracing the diverse cultures that make our college such a special place.
