BACKRangitoto College is delighted to welcome over 100 international students from 18 different countries for Term 1 of 2023. The college community is excited to have students from diverse cultural backgrounds and to offer them an excellent educational experience in Auckland, New Zealand.
The international students bring with them a wealth of experience, culture, and knowledge, which will enrich the college’s academic and social environment. They will also have the opportunity to learn about New Zealand’s unique history, culture, and customs, which will broaden their understanding and enhance their learning.
The college has made special arrangements to ensure the smooth integration of international students into the school community. The students received a comprehensive orientation that familiarised them with the campus, academic expectations, and support services available. The programme also included cultural activities to help students explore the local area and connect with their peers.
Rangitoto College offers a wide range of academic and co-curricular activities, and international students will have the opportunity to participate in these programmes. The college has highly qualified and experienced teaching staff who are committed to providing quality education and support to all students, including international students.
The international students will be accommodated with New Zealand families as part of the Homestay Programme, which will provide them with a unique opportunity to experience the local lifestyle and culture first-hand. The homestay families are carefully selected and monitored to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for the students.
