BACKThe Rangitoto College Long Service Awards takes place every two years where we gather to celebrate the years of service and accomplishments of our staff members who have been here for 15 years and longer.
Saturday 20 August was an exceptional evening because this event was held off-site for the first time at the Milford Cruising Club—a stunning venue surrounded by picturesque views of the marina and reserve. Special mention goes to caterers, Anise Group, for the incredible food enjoyed by everyone.
We recognised and acknowledged 30 staff members who have contributed over 700 years of combined service to Rangitoto College! The evening was supported by current staff and family members of the recipients as well as members of our School Board. For those staff members who have been at the college for 20 years and longer, we were regaled with stories and memories by a nominated speaker of their choice.
A huge congratulations and thanks to Jo Yates for being with us for more than 40 years, Sally Stockton for 35 years, and Don Hastie and Julie Strang for over 30 years. An incredible achievement!
