The Rangitoto Māori & Pasifika Leadership programme is now in its fifth year. We have a diverse group of students and personalities this year, each with a passion for promoting and enhancing Māori & Pasifika cultures in our kura. Overseen by Kairuruku, Davina Dean, the selected students lead our school whānau to organise and present termly hui, language weeks, our success evening, and other events and initiatives. Daily, they are role models and cultural ambassadors, sharing their pride and knowledge with peers. We are all hoping we can hold some wider-whānau events later this year. Watch this space.
