Trading Card Games Club plays a number of games including Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering. These are popular trading card games and have been around for over 25 years.
Join us as we journey thorugh the planes, casting powerful spells, or summoning your favourite Pokemons and artefacts to defeat their opponents. It requires great strategy, critical thinking, collaborative skills, and creativity, making it a fun and engaging activity for students of all ages.

Our club welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to experienced players looking to improve their skills. We provide a friendly and supportive environment where players can learn from each other, share strategies, and make new friends. Experienced players will also provide new players with the opportunity to learn the game from scratch. No decks are required!

During club meetings, we will typically play games in a casual setting, allowing players to experiment with different decks and strategies. We may occasionally hold tournaments and other special events, such as deck-building workshops, depending on the number of interested members.

Our club provides students at Rangitoto College with a pleasant opportunity to socialize, have colossal fun, and improve their skills at a popular and challenging card game. We aim to demonstrate why games such as Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering are the most popular card game in the world.
