Amnesty International at Rangitoto College strives to increase youth involvement and humanitarian action for welfare crises around the globe. As a service opportunity at the college, members of Amnesty International not only participate in a myriad of events to help raise awareness and funds for humanitarian causes but also write letters in response to human rights breaches. As a community, Amnesty International volunteers look to support vulnerable groups within global conflicts, climate change, refugee crises, discrimination, and much more. Students involved within this community have the opportunity to ensure their voices are heard, defend our basic human rights and help prevent injustices across the world and in our community.
Students need to attend at 2 events and write three letters (1 per tem over Terms 1, 2 and 3)
