BACKThe Maths Competition Club kickstarted their year with some intense mathematics training sessions. This club aims to train junior students in complex mathematics, preparing them for participation in the Otago Junior Maths Competition, Australian Maths Competition, Mathex, and the Maths Olympiad. In Term 1, a special focus has been placed on the Otago Junior Maths Competition, with weekly sessions focusing on topics such as combinatorics and geometry in order to prepare students for the early April exams. Students have been eagerly attending the sessions to develop strong maths skills, necessary for success in this competition. We wish them luck with their results!
