BACK

This term our dedicated history students kicked off our first round of interviews for the Knightsbridge Oral History Project.  They conducted a range of interviews on topics that we study in Year 11 History, including the Vietnam War, the 1981 Springbok Tour, the Second World War and the 1947 Polio epidemic. The end result will be that students are able to engage with local perspectives on national and global events. There were also some family history interviews conducted that will be transcribed and given to residents and their families to keep for future generations. Once again, this has been a rewarding and enriching experience for all involved and the students did our community proud.
