On Thursday, 28 November, junior students lit up the Rangitoto Centre with their lively performance of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Whānau, friends, and teachers were treated to a night filled with energy, chaos, and comedy as the juniors acted out a classic tale of love, disguises, and mistaken identities.
Our talented cast brought the story to life with enthusiasm and delight, leaving the audience in stitches and celebrating the joys of live theatre.
This production would not have been possible without the guidance of Year 11 students Max Lloyd, Fergus White, Elia Pollitt, and Troy Etherton, who helped to mentor the junior performers throughout the process. We also want to thank Henry Ji who designed a promotional poster for the event. Finally, a huge thank you also goes to our stage crew, whose behind-the-scenes efforts ensured the night ran smoothly, and to our band whose talent and eagerness to participate added an extra artistic flair to the evening.
We are incredibly proud of our students and can’t wait to see what they bring to the stage next year!
Teachers in Charge, Patrick Yam and Lauren Rabak.
