BACKThe Classics Department held a dinner and quiz mid-Term 3 to celebrate all things classical! Students and teachers dressed in their finest Greek and Roman garb and engaged in a thrilling quiz about the Classical world. Highlights of the night were the fantastic costumes that students had made themselves, such as a handmade spider costume, dressed up as Arachne and the cutest couple went to Paris and Helen of Troy.
We enjoyed food catered by El Greco in Mairangi Bay, our students had a taste of Italy and Greece on the night and a fantastic time was had by all. The final round came down to a tiebreak where our top two teams had to write down how many ships were to be believed to have travelled to Troy for the Trojan War.
