On Friday, May 17th, Rangitoto College made waves at the Auckland Champion of Champions swimming competition, proving to be a dominant force. These students earned their spots through top finishes at the North Harbour Zones, competing fiercely in individual races and rallying for thrilling relay events.

Their commitment is unwavering, with most of the team training rigorously with early morning starts, totaling nearly 18 hours per week. This dedication shone through as they clinched an impressive haul of 17 medals, marking the day as a resounding success. All eyes are now eagerly on their upcoming performance at the School National Championships in July where they are hoping to defend their team National title.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the dedicated parent volunteers, especially Adrienne Carter, whose invaluable support ensured a smooth and memorable event for the team.
