The annual Rangitoto College blood drive is an amazing cause that unites students and staff in making a lifesaving impact by contributing desperately needed blood for use in NZ hospitals. On the 4th and 5th of June, 120 units of blood were donated by students and teachers. Together, schools play a vital role in ensuring a stable blood supply and creating a brighter future for those in need, especially with NZ’s current blood shortage. Many of the students donated for the first time and will go on to be lifelong donors. A huge thank you to Mrs McDonald, Mrs Neale, the Community &andEnvironment and Service and Spirit leadership teams, and the NZ Blood Service for making the blood drive a success this year!
