BACKTalented cellist, and Year 11 student, Junsu Na has been offered a place in the Heifetz Institute 2024 Summer Programme. This prestigious three-week course is held in June and July at the Mary Baldwin University in Virginia and attracts top musicians from all over the world. The programme offers attendees the opportunity to be taught by top American musicians in both private tuition and seminars that aim to develop musicians’ potential.
Junsu secured his place in the programme after an intense audition process.
Junsu is the top cellist at Rangitoto College and contributes to both the Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra as the lead cellist. He is also in the elite Chamber Music programme. We wish Junsu well in this immersive, intensive, and transformative musical experience for outstanding string musicians.
