The Year 9 Tutor Class Knockout Volleyball Tournament was held every lunchtime in Week 8 during Term 3. This event was to create spirit within our Year 9 cohort and an exciting way to involve over 150 students either participating or supporting.
This event was supported by the Year 9 and 10 student sport service helpers who organised and ran the tournament. The tutor classes played two 10-minute halves where each game was a must-win to make it through to the next round. The tournament was filled with a balance of competitiveness and sociability, and it was fantastic to see all students demonstrating the key school values. 9CS and 9SR competed in finals where 9CS managed to take the win in the final few minutes. MVP player went to Seho Park in 9SB who demonstrated awesome sportsmanship and volleyball skills.
A huge thanks to all the Year 9 Deans and many staff members who supported the success of this event. A special mention also to the Year 9 and 10 =helpers for their superb support for a successful tournament.
