BACKWe hosted our fifth Golf Day Fundraiser in the sunshine on Friday 28 April at Pupuke Golf Course with 144 golfers, lots of gusto, humour, and of course, great competition. This year we were raising money to go towards our Hardship Fund for students wanting to play sports and piupiu for our Kapa Haka Group. We raised a total of $25,660 which has been our largest fundraiser so far.
The support for the Rangi Golf Day has grown phenomenally each year within our community and this is something we value highly. Without this support, we would not be able to deliver the many initiatives and opportunities for our students, facilities, and staff.
We had an incredible response from sponsors in our community who donated items for prizes and auctions and put on a few fun challenges around the course.
We would like to thank our main sponsors, Sal’s Authentic New York Pizza, Subway Constellation Drive, and Gilmours North Shore for all the delicious food provided throughout the day to keep the golfers fuelled and happy.
