BACKWith the Creative Writing Club wrapping up for the year, now is a wonderful time to reflect on our successes and growth in 2022. Post-Covid isolation and after a transitional year back, we can proudly say that the Creative Writing Club has more than 50 members and some 20 regular attendees.
It is with great pride that I can say that we have seen a number of epic New Zealand novels begin to take shape in our meeting place, as well as a variety of poems, short stories, and competition entries.
Special thanks go out to Trish Webster and Carrie Ingham for connecting us to various events happening in Auckland, and congratulations to our students, particularly Jules Jordan and Greer McKenzie (Year 11), Charlotte Light (Year 12), and Gabriel Froggatt (Year 10) for their publication experiences this year.
