A donation page has been set up by friends to assist with supporting one of our students, Keagan Scott and his sister. They tragically lost their mother, in unfortunate circumstances last Thursday 27 November. Rangitoto College would like to help Keagan and his family.
Tai Wynyard's winning streak continues. At the Maori Sports Awards 2014, Tai was named Maori Sportsman of the Year. Tai is sharing this honour with his life long hero. Congratulatons to Tai Wynyard and his father Jason Wynard on achieving such a success.

The Governor-General, Lt Gen The Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae at Government House today, announced the three young recipients who have been awarded a prestigious Rhodes Scholarship to undertake postgraduate study at the University of Oxford.

Congratulations to all students who received awards for service and achievement in the Arts at Rangitoto College at our annual Arts Awards evening on 22 October. This was an outstanding event and a true celebration of our talented students.

For the first time in many years, the College Dux was awarded to not one, but two students, Louisa Wang and Duo Ao Sun.
Congratulations to our elite sportsmen and sportswomen who have excelled in their sport in 2014. A celebration of their achievements was held in the Auditorium with over 200 awards being presented in the company of family, coaches, managers, Teachers in Charge and invited guests.
Into the Woods, our 2014 school show, won 3 categories at the Showdown Awards at Skycity Theatre on 5 November.
