Gemma was awarded 3rd place in the Musical Theatre category (ages 13 to 18), and 3rd place in the Vocal Championship (ages 16 to 18) at the North Shore Performing Arts Society competitions.

On Tuesday 9 March we had a very special visitor to the school. The William Webb Ellis Cup stopped into Rangitoto College for three hours as part of a nation-wide tour. We were lucky enough to host the cup along with Rugby and Harbour Rugby Representatives.
Congratulations to Alexandra Maloney, Daniel Willcox and Gemma Jones on their selection in to the NZ Sailing Team!

Rangitoto College students gained 78 subject Scholarships in 2015. Eight of which were ‘Outstanding’. These were gained in 15 subjects.

Ex-Student, Nick Malcolm, a Kiwi lifeguard who saved a Danish prince caught swimming in a dangerous rip tide is back at work but "overwhelmed" by the attention, his boss said today.
The Party Bus Company will be at school to pick up students at the end of school at 12.00 midday on Friday 11 December.
All other students who use any other bus service will have to make their own arrangements to get home.
Clara has been selected to play viola in the 2016 New Zealand Secondary Schools Symphony Orchestra. Clara is currently in Year 9 and plays viola in the Rangitoto Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and Sinfonia Orchestra.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) held their AGM on Monday 16 November. It was with sadness Jayne Albiston stepped down from the role of President. Jayne has been a driving force in engaging the parent and caregivers with the school community. Jayne is staying on the committee.
