Rangitoto College will consider applications from students all over the world aged 13-17 years old.

To ensure students have the best opportunity to immerse themselves in our school culture and succeed academically, we only accept enrolments for a minimum of one semester or a full academic year. Please note that we are unable to accept applications for a single term or short-term stays.
To apply to study at Rangitoto College, you need to submit the following documents (either by uploading them online or sending them by email):
- Completed Web Enrolment: Including your letter to the host family, subject choices and medical information.
- Passport: A clear copy of the student’s current passport.
- Academic Records: A copy of the student’s most recent school reports. All reports must be provided in their original language and include a certified English translation.
If the student is accepted, we will issue a Conditional Offer of Place and an Invoice. For agents, two invoices will be provided: one showing commission (net invoice) and one for the student (tax invoice).
Administration Fee
To secure the international student’s place, Rangitoto College requires the non-refundable Administration Fee to be paid upfront within 30 days of receiving the Offer of Place. This ensures the placement is held prior to the payment of the remaining tuition fees.
Payment of Fees
Fees can be paid online or via bank transfer. Detailed payment instructions are included on the invoice, and links to our online payment methods can be found on our International Fees page.
Final Documentation
As soon as the full fees have been received, the International Office will issue the Official Receipt and a Confirmed Offer of Place. This Confirmed Offer of Place is required to apply for a Student Visa through Immigration New Zealand.
